Job Summary

The delivery driver will be responsible for delivering furniture to customers at their homes in a timely, safe, and efficient manner. The delivery driver will also be responsible for ensuring that the furniture is delivered to the correct location, handling customer concerns or complaints related to the delivery, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries.

We only hire the BEST people to bring into our happy, positive, motivated culture! We are looking for a hard-working, dependable warehouse worker/delivery driver to prepare, receive, stock, & deliver furniture. You must be able to take charge and operate without management supervision - we don't micromanage. Working on Saturday is required (with shorter hours). You will normally work 4 to 5 days per week.

Driver Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Good and Clean Driving Record
• Must be able to lift over 100 pounds
• Must be able to get DOT certification
• Work an estimated 40-44 hours a week
• Saturday work required
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be willing to get your class C license immediately upon starting after training
• Must be able to pass a drug test and medical exam
• Ability to safely operate a delivery truck and handle furniture in a safe and efficient manner.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Driver Requirements:

• Load and unload furniture from the delivery truck, ensuring that it is securely fastened and protected from damage during transit.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the store, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and in the order specified.
• Inspect furniture for damage before and after delivery, reporting any issues to the store manager.
• Assemble furniture at the customer's location, if required.
• Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times, address any concerns or complaints related to the delivery, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery, customer signatures, and any special instructions or notes related to the delivery.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations related to the operation of the delivery truck, including proper loading and unloading techniques, safe driving practices, and vehicle maintenance.
