Advanced Data Scientist
Advanced Data Scientist for Honeywell International, Inc. (Atlanta, GA)

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML driven solutions for all Honeywell business groups and functions.
  • Work closely with application architects to integrate results into operational platforms including containerized microservices and distributed compute and storage architectures.
  • Work within Honeywell to identify opportunities for new growth and efficiencies based on data analyses both in adjacencies based on previous engagements, as well as larger industry developments.
  • Develop data modeling, mining, pattern analysis, data visualization and machine learning solutions to address customer needs.
  • Foster relationships with business team members by being proactive, displaying a thorough understanding of the business processes and by recommending innovative solutions.
  • Communicate project output in terms of customer value, business objectives, and product opportunity.
  • Promote data science methods and processes across functions.
  • Work with our businesses and infrastructure teams to develop an AI/ML platform strategy and test approaches that will clearly outline how our enterprise platforms can enable business growth & productivity.

  • Job Site: Atlanta, GA
  • 40 hours/week

YOU MUST HAVE:


Qualified applicants must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, and one (1) year of experience.

Full term of experience must include: Data Science prototyping experience (Python and/or R tool-stack) using machine learning techniques and algorithms, including regression, classification, clustering, and time series forecasting; distributed storage and compute tools (e.g. Hive and Spark); deep learning frameworks, including PyTorch and Keras; Natural Language Processing models; Machine Learning of physical systems; and deploying ML pipelines to production using containerized microservices and/or orchestrated batch runs.

Up to 10% international and domestic travel required.

Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week.
