If you have the same belief as our Mission Statement above, we want to hear from you.As a Restoration of America (ROA) Political Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing large amounts of data from various sources to uncover insights and trends that can be used to improve the performance of our various political efforts. You will work closely with our leadership team, political strategists, and Restoration News team to create data-driven solutions that maximize our donors return on investment and improve the effectiveness of our campaigns. We are looking for like-minded individuals with cutting edge analytical, data and coding skills. You will work in a fast-paced and exciting environment with the premier America First Political Organization in the country. Candidates should be open to contract-to-hire.

Must be able to work some evenings and weekend hours – primarily during elections years.

You will work out of Downers Grove, IL, Naples, FL or Phoenix, AZ offices. We will consider exceptional candidates in any continental US location. Expect to travel to an ROA office on a regular basis with overnight stays if not located in Downers Grove, Naples, or Phoenix.

Salary is negotiable and will be commensurate with experience in industry.

Responsibilities

• Track and disseminate analysis of voter contact results, early vote and absentee turnout, voter registration, and other data relevant to campaigns
• Create voter contact and volunteer recruitment universes as needed
• Produce analysis of voter contact results, program health, early vote and absentee turnout, voter registration, and other data relevant to campaigns and present these to leadership
• Provide analysis of data and field requests for specialized research projects, requiring rapid turnaround
• Build automated workflows to streamline data tasks
• Administer the tools used by the teams including user permissions, accounts, shared data sets, and other settings
• Provide support to partners and users by setting up troubleshooting standards and systems of communication

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 cycles of political data experience on a political campaign, state, national party, or political advocacy organization. Will also consider highly skilled individuals with a business background who are active in the America First grassroots community.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment while remaining detail oriented and focused on deadlines
• Experience with SQL, python, or any other language efficient for analyzing large datasets
• Experience with Google Data Studio, Tableau, Shiny, or other data visualization languages or platforms
• Bonus Skills: MSFT Access, Excel Pivot Tables, Squirrel SQL Client, Lucidchart, Draw.io, Datagrip, My SQL Workbench, Elasticsearch, and AzureFamiliarity with predictive models and probabilities, and their application to voter targeting and universe creation
• Experience with data programs for voter registration, absentee ballot chase or turnout programs a plus
