Be part of our team. CHKD is seeking a professional and caring Registered CT Technologist to facilitate health and healing for our patients and their amazing families. Our technologists work with leadership and radiologists to provide, enhance, and maintain high levels of radiation safety for producing high quality images. Assures customer satisfaction with all levels of customers (interdepartmental, community, and patient/family) for the provision of services. Reports to designated department Supervisor/Manager/Director.
This role is located at the Main Hospital in Norfolk, VA and maintains a typical schedule of full-time, evenings/nights.

An ideal candidate will possess:
- Registered Computerized Tomography RT (R)(CT) Technologist by the ARRT required.
- One year of radiology experience required.
- Proficient with CT principles and procedures as well as operation and maintenance of CT Scanner.
- Interpersonal skills necessary for effective communication and teamwork with physicians, clinical personnel, multiple departments, and patients/families.
- Analytical skills necessary to determine best method of providing requested radiographs based on the individual case and basic technical principles, ensuring clear undistorted radiographs.
