Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a hands on Controller to join our Accounting Team at Bielinski Homes! This position requires a CPA license, a Bachelor's Degree and preferably 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience.

The Controller reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the following:

Coaching, Task Delegation and Management of the Accounting Team

Year-end audits/reviews performed by external auditors; prepares necessary documentation in a thourough and timely manner

Bank reconciliations

Analyzing and monitoring homes under construction from a financial standpoint to assist executives in managing operations

Development and implementation of systems and procedures to monitor customer draws, subcontractor insurance and lien waivers

Preparation of month end journal entries and updating relevant tracking documents

Preparation of financial statements for all entities including consolidating statements

Updating and revising the fixed assets and related depreciation records

Monthly sales tax returns and payments
