Lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within a large/complex site to embed best practices, reinforce a continuous improvement mind set and streamline non-value added activities. This role is located in our Mt. Olive, NJ facility.
- Contribute to the design of local Operations strategies by advising on the schedule and execution of key Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Elaborate the manufacturing excellence strategy for the assigned site based on global OPEX strategy
- Define the local Continuous Improvement program
- Develop and leverage internal and external Lean network to capture best practices and eventually recommend and deploy these within the organization.
- Track implementation progress of approved CI projects/programs, monitoring resource plans, project team accountabilities, change requests, deadlines, milestones, etc.
- Implement performance management system (PMS) for the site and cascade its KPIs.
- Advise CI and Project Managers in developing change management roadmaps
- Conduct annual human resources processes for the assigned Manufacturing Excellence team(s) and validate results
- Assess local capability gaps and develop and implement solutions with the Site Operations management

- University degree in Engineering or related discipline (Master preferred).
- LEAN certification.
- Project management certification preferred
- Overall work experience of 7 to 10 years including of which at least 3 years in a Lean implementation role.
- 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in people management.
- Good knowledge of product processing and industrialization processes.
- Good command in project management using TPM, KPI, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, OIP and project controlling tools.
- Good knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines.
- Good knowledge of financial concepts (e.g. OPEX, CAPEX) and tools (e.g. SAP).
