The Role:

• Standardising Best Practices
  • Create Communities of best practice to leverage functional knowledge across the service organisation
  • Create a continuous improvement culture through deployment of standard best practices
  • Develop training that supports the use of best practice and standardised approach to continuous improvement
• Driving and Managing Change
  • Identify Areas for Improvement
    • Create a Plan for Improvement
    • Implement the Changes
    • Test and analyse results
    • Review the Impact
• Support of Lean and Kaizen initiatives
  • Active support of the Service Divisions Kaizen program
  • Supporting projects as a continuous improvement subject matter expert, where needed
  • Coaching and training of continuous improvement/Kaizen methodologies
• To consistently improve the functioning and overall efficiency of the Service Technology Centre’s in all key areas, using recognised methodologies e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen, “Fail Fast, Fall Forward” (the use of simple experiments where failure is acceptable, but drives the improvement forward)
• Facilitate the deployment of new and changed processes to provide improved results. Train and guide resources as needed
• Manage all continuous improvement activities with detailed project management
