OPPORTUNITY

The primary purpose of this position is to safely oversee and direct the contractor activity on site during construction activities. This position ensures that Hydrite’s procedures and policies are followed to drive safe construction project safe execution and regulatory compliance.

As a Construction Manager, Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Leads and supports Hydrite’s Safety mission, vision and values.
  • Work with the SQRA Coordinator and Operations Manager to ensure that safety and regulatory issues are addressed and training is conducted to meet Hydrite and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Responsible for managing the activities, procedures and standards of performance for all contractor personnel following established SOP’s, safety, and regulatory policies.
  • Responsible for managing contractors to ensure that plant equipment is consistent with Hydrite’s expectations.
  • Collaborates with Hydrite’s Operations, Engineering and Reliability resources to ensure compliance with policy and factory expectations.
  • Ensure that standard operating procedures and trained to contractors.
  • Responsible for managing construction projects as assigned.
  • Serve as a member of the Branch Emergency Response Team and the responsibilities of contractors in such events.
  • Uphold Hydrite’s Standard of Excellence through a continuous commitment to maintain quality facilities and provide quality products and services to internal and external customers.
  • Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

  • This position reports to the Plant Manager.

Experience And Educational Criteria

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10+ years relevant technical experience is required.
  • Three to five years of chemical processing experience with supervisory or contractor management experience.
  • PSM knowledge required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbal and written, with employees and management.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Power Point, Word, and Excel required.
  • Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Must have an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license.
