About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Communications Associate in the Investment Solutions Publications Operations & Risk team within Wealth & Investment Management (WIM). The Publisher role on the Investment Publications team is responsible for publishing timely investment content; formatting client reports to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards; sending notification emails to distribution lists when new content is released; and proofreading for typos and formatting issues. The position reports to the Business Execution Senior Manager of the Investment Solutions Publications Operations & Risk Team.

In this role, you will:
  • Assist with communication based initiatives and activities
  • Assess processes related to tasks or projects in communications executing within deadlines and urgency
  • Receive direction from leadership and exercise judgment while developing understanding of the processes used in communications
  • Provide data to management and teams, including customers if needed
  • Proofread documents and Publish to multiple Wells Fargo approved platforms
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ months of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail, including accuracy in grammar and a sharp focus on eliminating errors
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Financial services experience
  • Web publishing proficiency (brokerage experience publishing to SDL/Tridion and InfoMAX is a plus)
  • Proficiency working with MS Word documents and converting documents to PDF in Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) publishing compliance (Adobe Accessibility Checker and other tools) to test content
  • Ability to execute on deadlines and act with urgency in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, where collaboration and candor are important
  • Strong proofreading skills: Typos, formatting issues
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to work a regular shift between 8:00 a.m. ET (7:00 a.m. CT) and 5:00 p.m. ET (4:00 p.m. CT) for publishing before and/or after the securities markets trading hours. This role requires working in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
  • Publishing: Publish a high volume of investment strategy, securities and manager research reports. This including morning reports before the market opens and afternoon reports after the market closes, on company intranet sites used by investment professionals. Handle the formatting and testing needed to ensure compliance with American Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines. Send notification alert emails to internal distribution lists with links to newly released publications. Manage the archiving and removal of published reports based on compliance expiration dates.
  • Web page maintenance: Keep information current and links functional on internal web sites. Be able to make changes quickly and accurately to pages used by investment professionals and advisors to guide their clients. Respond to questions from the field or Home Office about where to locate content and to technical issues with accessing content.
  • Proofreading and formatting: Proofread publication drafts for typos and formatting errors. Pay close attention to detail and sensitivity to risk. Assist publication leads as needed with report formatting and proofing.
  • Train publishers: Provide cross-training on publishing and ADA formatting to Publications teammates; collaborate with teammates to ensure coverage; and communicate clearly with publication leads on availability and to understand publishing needs and timelines.
  • Business process documentation: Document and regularly review publishing processes; consistently make recommendations to improve efficiency and work flow; and push to understand root cause of publishing issues, looking for long-term resolution.
