Job description
We urgently need a CNC Operator to work with an industrial company located in the city of Yorba Linda, CA. Offering a full schedule, second shift, M-F, 2:10 PM - 10:40 PM, with a starting pay rate of $24.30/hr or Third shift with a starting pay of $26.00.
Duties and Requirements:
- Interface with QA and QC to maintain the quality of work
- Perform standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work
- Regular utilization of a wide variety of precision measuring instruments
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- 20/20 vision without assistance or aid
- Highschool or GED
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic knowledge of safety and hazardous material regulations
- Knowledge retention of FDA Quality System requirements and ISO 9001 requirements after training
- Basic CNC programming knowledge, enough to upload/download programs to machines
- Ability to work from blueprints and drawings
- Technical skills to produce a finished screw machine part after the machine is set up
- Independently load a bar stock and change tools such as center drill without assistance
- Basic data entry skills and familiarity with PC. SAP skills are a plus
- Ability to operate one or more types of machines
- 1-2 years of CNC swiss type machines experience
