Develops and prepares simple operating programs, plans processing sequences, and checks programs on CNC equipment. Trains and instructs personnel in the program and machine operation and function.

Must have exceptional knowledge and skill and considerable experience with ordinary and semi-complex equipment to be operated and maintained, with what is to be setup and adjusted, and what tools are to be used.

Responsibility

• Steady care required for equipment and tools to prevent damage
• Ensure all bolts are tight & all tooling is secure
• Make sure machine is properly lubricated
• Proper load, unload, and operating sequences must be followed
• Tooling to be cleaned after each use
• Ordinary care of materials required
• Stack parts in baskets-Do not throw
• Follow all QA inspection procedures

Effort

• Constantly sustained exertion and lifting of parts ranging from 0-35 pounds.
• Continuous mental and visual attention is required. Operation requires constant alertness.
