Position for a licensed mental health professional is available starting July 3, 2023 to take over the role of Clinical Director of Center for Higher Consciousness located in the Southglenn area of Centennial, CO.
This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established 10+yr private practice balancing a manageable caseload, being able to work in a management and supervisory role, as well as participating in an ongoing, close working relationship with the owner/operator.
This position will foster diversity of work activities to prevent burnout and offers a working structure which promotes work/life balance including a 36-hour work week classified as full-time, a strong benefits package including PTO, a smaller than industry-average caseload requirement, and a capacity to work in a hybrid model (a mix of in-person and remote work).
This position requires a gradual onboarding period of increasing hours in order to reach full-time status (36 hours/week) in order that caseload requirements are established. I expect this to take a max of 3 months to achieve (we have an existing caseload to transfer).
Center for Higher Consciousness is an evolving and expanding, locally-owned counseling center focused on supporting individuals, couples, and families in our community meet their mental health needs by facilitating psychological heath, emotional wellbeing, personal and spiritual growth, and the mind/body connection, primarily through psychotherapy services. Our long-terms plans include opening multiple centers and offering services that go beyond traditional clinical work including coaching, teaching, seminars, retreats, and selling products supporting wellness, personal growth, and higher consciousness.
Applicants must:
- have a Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling or clinical psychology,
- be licensed in the state of Colorado (LPC preferably),
- uphold the ethical and legal standards of the profession.
Prefer a practitioner able to maintain strong professional boundaries, who is capable and self-driven, who wants to work within an established practice long-term, and who has experience and interest in East/West therapeutic modalities (mindfulness, meditation, contemplative traditions, yoga).
