Overview:
This position is responsible for the administration of routine quality data review, reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities:

Description of Primary Responsibilities:

General Requirements

1. Responsible for preparing quality reports and balanced scorecards as needed.
  • Produce, validate and distribute quality scorecards as required.
  • Substantiate and explain sources of information presented on scorecards to the quality team and clinical staff.
  • Analyze and interpret trends and communicate results to clinical staff including providers
2. Responsible for querying, filtering, summarizing and reporting information for continuous quality improvement.
  • Monitor and validate data sources routinely to maintain the integrity of the data.
  • Provide ad hoc reports as needed to support quality team.
3. Support reporting and business intelligence functions within the quality team.
  • Develop and refine collection data tools and resources for quality measures.
  • Collect data for creating business intelligence reports as needed, in support of the Business Analyst.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of source data and flow of data related to quality measures
4. Promotes a positive work culture and upholds clinic policies and procedures, including the WE CARE Standards of Behavior.
5. Must uphold confidentiality at all times in regards to CBHA activities, reports, financials, patient health information and other proprietary information specific to CBHA.

Communication & Teamwork
  • Develop trusting relationships with quality team and clinical teams
  • Serve as the key point of contact between business intelligence, informatics and QI
Learning & Development
  • Proactively learn new business processes and technologies in advance of their implementation and adoption at CBHA.
  • Develop skill and knowledge to serve as a subject matter expert for Azara Business Intelligence.
Customer Service and Communication
  • Effectively builds relationships, including rapport, influencing and networking skills.
  • Communicates effectively at all levels.
  • Ensures a consistent service delivery in a consultative and solutions-based capacity to all levels of staff and external contacts with regards to operational related plans, policies and procedures.
Clinic Manager Duties (As Needed)
  • Responsible for supervising the job duties of Patient Services Representatives (PSR).
  • Schedules, assigns and evaluates staff members engaged in registration, checkout, and patient benefits administration, including adjusting hours and shifts as required to optimize clinic operations.
  • Orients and trains staff to administer high level of customer service and proper cash handling for medical, eye care and dental; and assures that on-going training and educational needs are met.
  • Executes policies to protect the privacy of all patients and adhere to the guidelines of prescribed by HIPAA (Health Information Portability and Accountability Act) and other governing bodies.
  • Enforces confidentiality and privacy policies and implement corrective action plans to ensure adherence.
  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating methods to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of staff performance and the clinic’s utilization of facilities, equipment, and other resources.
  • Manages patient complaints in a respectful, professional and timely manner.
  • May oversee the ordering of supplies and monitors supply levels.
  • May investigate and resolve complaints or refers unusual problems to the Chief Operations Officer.
  • Works with Facilities Leadership to address facilities management needs.
Qualifications:

Professional and Technical Knowledge:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field (can be substituted for a combination of experience and certifications).

Employees and dependents also receive one additional hardware credit per year at CBHA’s cost + 20% (used for non-prescription sunglasses, contact lenses, or a second pair of prescription glasses). $35 copay is waived for preventative services

403 (b) Retirement Plan:

Safe Harbor Match: Employees are eligible to receive a Safe Harbor Match of 100% up to 4% of the employee’s total salary. Employee is full vested in Safe Harbor Match from day 1. Contributions are subject to IRS guidelines.

Non-Elective Contribution- Provided the employee has met enrollment qualifications, employee will also receive 4% employer contribution of employee’s total salary at the end of the Plan Year at the discretion of Board of Directors.


Vacation (Personal Leave):
  • Full-time exempt employees in their first year will have 80 hours of PTO input into their PTO account at the start of hire. For the reminder of the first year of employment, they will accrue at the rate of .05385 per hour worked not to exceed a per pay period accrual of 4.308 hours.
  • In year two and thereafter, they will accrue at the rate of .09231 per hour not to exceed a pay period accrual of 7.38 hours.
  • Employees receive 8 vacation hours (Wellness Day) added to their bank on each anniversary date.
