Client Retention Coordinator-Luxury Auto Sales
Motor Werks, located in Barrington, IL, a member of the Murgado Werks Automotive Group, has an immediate opening for a Client Retention Coordinator.
Motor Werks continues to grow and is now expanding an exclusive, loyalty-based automotive sales program “VIP Exchange Program.” This opportunity has often been titled, Vehicle Exchange Coordinator or Upgrade Program Coordinator, within the Automotive Industry. If you have direct experience or in a call center, with inside sales, or a high-volume customer focused environment - this could be an exciting growth opportunity for you. Client Retention Coordinator Essential Duties:
- Outbound communication to follow-up with, as well as to generate new sales appointments and vehicle appraisals via calls, texts, and emails
- Respond with urgency to inbound sales leads and inquiries
- Provide a clear call to action to customers to generate interest in upgrading into a newer vehicle or selling us their current vehicle
- Facilitate introduction to our Sales Team as customers express interest in further discussing their needs, to identify a potential buying timeline

- Master all systems and training materials provided by Motor Werks and any training firm associated with Motor Werks, including scripts and word-tracks
- Uses various Word-Tracks at the appropriate stages of a sales call.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the Sales Team and Staff
- Keeps current with inventory status.
- Maintains a professional code of conduct at all times.
- Maintains consistency and accuracy in records.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; and one or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Call Center or Sales experience preferred.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Maintain a willingness to learn and be coached towards success.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITIES
Strong interpersonal communication skills, able to overcome objections
Ability to communicate persuasively yet professionally with customers to set appointments.
Strong computer literacy – experience with outlook, word, excel, CRM solutions, online chats etc. as well as the ability to type efficiently.
Must possess exceptional follow up skills to ensure all client inquiries are handled satisfactory.
Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently while taking direction from management.
Must have positive, solutions based communication skills.
Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with issues and problems.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
