Summary
Trilogy Health Services headquartered in Louisville, KY with 130 Health Campus locations throughout the Midwest (KY, IN, OH, MI) is looking to appoint a talented and highly experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). The Chief Marketing Officer will lead and create innovative marketing, planning, and sales development strategies. The CMO will execute innovative initiatives including mobile platforms, video and social media mediums. The CMO will lead the generation of revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing strategies by the utilization of market research, pricing, product marketing, communications, advertising and public relations.

Summary

The Chief Marketing Officer will lead and create innovative marketing, planning, and sales development strategies. The CMO will execute innovative initiatives including mobile platforms, video and social media mediums. The CMO will lead the generation of revenue by increasing sales through successful marketing strategies by the utilization of market research, pricing, product marketing, communications, advertising and public relations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads sales and marketing innovations, evolves best practices, establishes KPIs, analyzes competitor strategies, reviews third-party tools and consumer engagement, identifies technology strategies and innovations to grow sales and drive business.
- Leads sales management, new business development, product development, distribution channel management and customer service.
- Works in consultation with the CEO and other Executive Offices, Executive Directors, Directors and staff to develop efficient processes for alignment with trilogy's mission and vision, strategic/business/fiscal plans and the organizational goals and priorities.
- Uses financial modeling to create budgets, forecast company performance and analyze the success of business strategies.
- Develops the company's mid to long-term strategic and annual business plans; consults on cross functional KPIs to support sales.
- Cultivates and promotes a mission-driven culture of high-quality performance, with a member focus on customer service, consistency, dignity and accountability.
- Identifies and capitalizes on Trilogy's unique brand within the industry while leading and supporting digital media platforms and strategies to drive brand growth.
- Provides overall leadership, direction and support to a best in class sales teams and in house marketing team, while driving and promoting culture and performance with ongoing feedback, coaching and development.
- Develop and nurtures relationships with various key strategic partners including business and community leaders.
- Leads and positively contributes to the culture, energy, and growth of the company.
- Leads marketing team in driving investment and analyzes ROI in digital marketing and rollout of technologies and services.
- Lead company value proposition narrative with all internal audiences including senior leaders, consumers and families, referral partners, owners, and company stakeholders.
- Guides senior leaders and executives in the planning and process of sales and marketing initiatives designed to meet the organizational sales investment strategies.
- Strives to improve efficiency and reduce costs in areas of Reviews and analyzes monthly financial results and provides recommendations and analysis.
- Communicates organizational goals and objectives as it relates to sales performance and marketing targets to the company's leadership and Board of Directors.
- Travel (Up to 50%) including overnight stay as necessary.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of:
- Sales Performance and Marketing principles, brand, product and service management, sales and business development; along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance.
- Strategies and principles of working with innovative sales, marketing and communications functions including; sales process, branding and messaging to different target audiences.
- Professional healthcare principles, concepts and procedures as applied to the care of patients in a skilled or assisted living facility.
- Computerized information technologies used in marketing and sales
- Theories and practices of health care administration regulatory and compliance standards.
- Compliance with external regulatory agencies and organizations for all areas of responsibility.
Skills in:
- Developing high-level sales, marketing and brand strategies while leveraging innovative communication metrics including multichannel sales and marketinng social media campaigns, initiatives and other related media outlets.
- Developing sales and marketing plans and strategies that reach target segments quickly and effectively.
- Analysis and metrics oriented marketing with strong focus on ROI.
- Demand generation experience with in-depth skills in marketing automation.
- Project management from conception to evaluation, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adhere to deadlines.
- Ongoing development of a servant leadership culture that strives to achieve the highest ethical standards.
- Organization with strong attention to detail.
Ability to:
- Review, analyze and develop sales and market planning while leveraging data and analytics to drive strategies.
- Create a branding roadmap and oversee the development of new business markets to increase revenue generation.
- Develop, strengthen and build on the company's unique and compelling services to build brand awareness, relevance, reputation and esteem among target audiences.
- Lead the marketing team to achieve inspiring design, content and ad campaigns that builds brand awareness.
- Understand changing market dynamics, translating them into actionable strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Lead innovative communications strategies to educate and inform communities about activities, services and recognition of "Trilogy Senior Living."
- Be an independent self-starter and innovator, with an affinity for producing consistently high-quality work.
- Deal tactfully with board of directors, executive leadership, bankers, financial institutions, personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, vendors and the general-public.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from Board of Directors, groups of executives, leaders, managers, clients and customers and governmental agencies.
- Review and analyze information, while using critical thinking skills to evaluate data for regulatory compliance.
- Align all work and resource management with the Company's mission, vision, philosophies and values, goals and strategic Translate the vision and values into day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional discretion.
- Organize, prioritize and track multiple tasks with strong attention to efficiency and detail.
- Work independently, as well as collaboratively, within a team environment.
- Provide a high level of customer service in a calm and professional manner.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Qualifications:
- Four (4) year degree business, marketing or communication. Master's degree preferred.
- Must be willing to relocate to Louisville, KY.
Experience:
- Prior experience in Senior Living or Long Term Care is a requisite for the role.
- Ten (10) years' marketing experience including influencing the sales and marketing performance of a brand.
- CRM and new media experience required with knowledge and proficiency sales and marketing technology.
- Advanced information technology and computer skills that include knowledge of finance software, and the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
