We are well-established, PCMH Certified pediatric practice in Lake Zurich and Arlington Heights. We are seeking a qualified, compassionate individual who is a team player and enjoys working with children and their families to fill a Certified Medical Assistant position. This is a 16-24 hour per week position primarily at our Lake Zurich location. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a dynamic group of dedicated physicians and support staff working together to make a difference in the lives of the families we serve.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs vitals, rooms patients and gathers specimens.
• Documents necessary information in the EMR.
• Collects specimens, performs in-office lab testing and prepares specimens for outside labs.
• Assists with in-office patient procedures per protocol and training.
• Administering immunizations
• Contributes to the daily upkeep of office space and equipment.
• Demonstrates and supports PediaTrust Core Values.
• Performs cleaning and disinfection of instruments and equipment based on practice protocol.
• Performs digital health workflows and initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Abilities:

• Minimum High School Diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
• Certification as a Medical Assistant
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Strong knowledge and level of comfort with EPIC or other EMR system
• Experience in a clinical environment
• Computer literacy
• CPR certification
