The summary of your role is to deliver, in a safe and efficient manner, the highest quality individualized assistance to all residents.
Responsibilities
- Assists residents with all activities of daily living.
- Assists residents with bed making and strip beds on said days.
- Answer all door and gate alarms immediately.
- Observes and reports unusual symptoms, changes, accidents and injuries to the Charge Nurse.
- Encourages residents to attend scheduled activities and outings.
- Observes and upholds resident rights at all times.
- Relate to residents in a courteous, understanding and cooperative manner.
- Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.
Physical Demands
- Must have good physical and mental health and be willing to be on his/her feet and active during entire shift.
Qualifications and Education
- Previous experience working with elderly is appreciated, but not required
- Be honest, dependable, and possess good personal habits.
- Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Current CPR certification and update as needed. Not certified? No worries, we can help with this!
