NYS K-12 Certification in any CTE Strand
Starting September 1, 2023 ~ 7:25 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Job Qualifications
The candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- A valid certification in any strand of Career and Technical Education(CTE) in grades 7-12
- Certification in grades K-12 is preferred but not required
- Certification specialized in the strand of Agriculture Technology is preferred but not required
- Experience with or ability to:
- Collaborate with administration and colleagues to create, plan, and implement CTE courses and curriculum that:
- Align with New York State Standards
- Fulfill requirements for successful graduation
- Offer exploration opportunities prior to Junior year when some students begin
- Establish positive connections with students; including those that may struggle with their behavior and academics
- Engage students using topics and activities that are relevant to their career and aspirations, interests
- Establish connections with businesses and organizations in the community that will increase opportunities for students
- Collaborate with administration and colleagues to create, plan, and implement CTE courses and curriculum that:
