Volt is immediately hiring for a Business Development Manager. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity with our client located in Maumee, OH. This can be a fully remote role. This position is responsible for cultivating new customer relationships and existing customer growth. We are seeking a person with a sales "hunter" mentality and ability to navigate complex company organization structures to identify and contact decision makers in a multitude of industries. This role requires a proven track record of generating profitable sales within targeted industries and new business segments in the industrial markets. This position requires the usage of technology to interface remotely with customers/prospects as well as strategic in person calls to further develop the opportunity.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline
• Combination of education and years of experience acceptable

Required Length & Type of Experience:

• Minimum seven years of sales experience with interior products within the aerospace industry
• Minimum five years of demonstrated success in technical sales and consultative problem solving with multiple value-added components and systems desired

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Sales hunter mentality
• Ability to understand written and verbal procedures, instructions and inquiries from customers
• Ability to understand spring terminology and design, drawings, and specifications to effectively convey spring knowledge to customers
• Strong analytical skills - need to have the ability to make recommendations based on data analysis
• Strong PC aptitude in a Windows environment required; specifically Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point). Ability to learn other software packages and maintain an awareness of technology advancements.
• Familiarity with CRM platform
• Ability to interpret customers concept and make appropriate application suggestions
