Quail Run Hospital is a 102-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. Quail Run features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Quail Run.

This is a full-time, position working (3) 12-hour shifts per week. We currently have DAY shift and NIGHT shift available

Summary:

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) functions as an active and integral part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients. The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) works under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Monitor each patient’s location per the Observation Policy and Procedure. Utilize sound judgment during assessment and observe and documents any changes in a patient's appearance, behavior or ability to work toward treatment plan goals.

Qualifications

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED as well as a combination of behavioral health education and work experience totaling 4 years
• Current CPR or BLS certification
• Successful completion of (SAMA) including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment
• Current AZ DPS Level One Fingerprint Card within 30 days of employment
