Position: Assembly & Test Technician - Level 1
Location: Tempe, AZ 85284
Duration: 6 months contract (possible to convert depending on performance and needs)
Shift: Swing and Weekend Shift (Fri-Sun, Weekend Shift); Overtime availability is a MUST when needed
Pay Rate: $2
0.50/hr
. (Depending on experience)
Benefits/Incentive: Insurance Provided (Medical, Dental, Vision, etc.); Bonus: $1k at 14 days w/perfect attendance; $1k at 60 days; $1k at 90 days
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Must pass a criminal background check (7-year felony + sex offender)
Must pass a pre-employment drug test (10 panels for recreational drugs and opiates)
Must be a US Citizen
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and records and analyzes results.
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- Works under direct supervision.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Typically reports to a supervisor.
Skills and Education Requirements:
- Requires knowledge of industry-specific tests and testing equipment.
- Requires an associate's degree and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Special Considerations:
- Lifting is generally at or below 30Lbs. without significant repetitions.
- Moderate exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is anticipated.
- Operation of a Powered industrial truck is considered at least Industrial and may be considered Heavy as determined by other exposures.
