  Follow all safety and quality requirements/procedures
• Be proactive in evaluating resources (i.e. MAX data/reports, Kanban reports, production schedule, on hand inventory) to determine future shortages in purchased and manufactured parts.
• If notified of shortages, take action to order / expedite parts through the plant. Closely monitor part movements and identify risks. Communicate risks and shortfalls to management and other employees.
• Identify and assist in resolving reoccurring shortages.
• Monitor and evaluate Kanban parts quantities. Make then necessary changes as needed.
• Develop or assist with contingency plans.
• Create and monitor work orders.
• Actively seek out ways to improve inventory and production processes.
• Perform other related or similar duties as required.

  Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Understanding and willingness to participate in WCM projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, Excel, Word, Access, Outlook.
• Proficiency in MAX.
• Excellent understanding of MRP systems as well as KANBAN and LEAN manufacturing techniques.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and meet production requirements on time.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written are required with the ability and confidence to participate in meetings with management and people outside of their immediate organization.
• Understanding of production schedules and basic manufacturing processes
• Basic blue print reading.
• Complete understanding of Bill of Materials and routings.
• Ability to accurately perform data entry functions.
