Job description

Alarm Dispatchers in our Central Station Department monitor a variety of alarm signals, responding by providing accurate information to the customer and the proper authorities. Responses must be timely with attention given to procedures and special instructions, while maintaining customer privacy and confidentiality.

We are looking for candidates to work 3rd Shift (12am-8am), including weekends and holidays, as the Central Station Department operates 24-7-365.

Responsibilities:

• Respond in a timely manner to incoming alarms from alarm systems.
• Communicate effectively with other employees and customers.
• Answer multiple phone lines with the approved phone greetings.
• Respond to each caller in a professional manner while gathering information, troubleshooting and transferring calls.
• Participate in job related training sessions to refresh and update knowledge of procedures.
• Watch camera systems at designated times.
• Provide technicians with account information.
• Maintain cleanliness of office workspace.
• Complete assigned duties as requested.

Physical Demands:

• Majority of time is spent sitting.

Other Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable & regular attendance.
• Shift work (24/7) including weekends and holidays.
• Due to the security nature of our business, offers of employment are contingent upon passing a background check & pre-employment drug test.
