The Wake Weekly is seeking a talented, multi-platform Advertising Specialist for our advertising and marketing strategy. Position is located in Wake County, one of the fastest growing regions of the state. Full time position.

Qualifications
The optimum candidate will have a background in sales and marketing with a proven track record. Have a mindset of setting and achieving performance goals; familiar with varied forms of advertising and marketing; self-starting and self-motivated, enthusiastic and possess a positive work ethic.

Responsibilities

Advertising sales for community newspaper, digital marketing company and ticketing agency in Wake County and surrounding regional areas.

• Present multifaceted sales campaigns that promote print, digital, and niche products to maximize advertiser's ROI.

• Market special sections that help promote and expand the advertiser’s message within specific markets.

• Be digital savvy with efforts to grow the market base in emerging mediums.
• Participate in company-sponsored programs that includes events and marketing opportunities.
• Represent the company by participating in business and community events that promote the organization.
