Company located in Baltimore, MD has an immediate need for an experienced Accounts Payable or Receivable Specialist.

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

• Performs data entry for accounts payable invoices, bills and expenses to ensure accurate and timely payment
• Supports vendor and subcontractor inquiries regarding accounts payable.
• Assists business finance team with inquiries and payment status questions as needed
• Assists with check run activities
• Maintains organized accounts payable records and file records in a timely and accurate manner
• Matches invoices to checks prior to signing and ensure each check has appropriate support
• Maintain knowledge of Company's values and strategic plan
• Performs additional assignments per managements direction.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• College Associates Degree or Higher preferred
• 4+ years' experience in accounts payable/receivable, preferably within the construction industry
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Developing analytical and investigation skills
