Accounting/Finance Administrator

MEH is seeking a full time Accounting/Finance Administrator to oversee the full cycle of accounting duties for multiple companies. This position supports the Financial Controller and works closely with clients and lenders. The right candidate desires a career in a fast-paced environment with a team that challenges and encourages continuous growth and improvement.

Accounting/ Finance Responsibilities:
· Responsible for all daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations of multiple companies.
· Credit card entries and reconciliations
· Intercompany monthly entries
· Closely review insurances including but not limited to: Property, General liability, and MEMIC
· Process biweekly payroll
· Assist with phone calls and other office duties.
· Perform other related duties as assigned
Accounting/ Finance Skills and Qualifications:
· Experience with accounting software and databases, especially QuickBooks
· High attention to detail and accuracy, especially in data management
· Maintain a high level of confidentiality
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Strong time management and organizational skills
· Advanced skills with business software, such as Microsoft Office
Education and Experience:
· Associates degree, preferably in accounting or finance related field
· 2+ years’ experience in accounting or financial department
Compensation
· $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year, based on experience
