Panda Cake
FREMONT, SEATTLE, WA :: Wow, lucky me! On this weekend, Kristie once again possessed a powerful urge to exercise her creativity in the form of baked goods. Usually this results in yummy muffins or cupcakes, but today, I was blown away.
I’m still not sure what I did to deserve this wonderful panda cake. Whatever it was, it was worth it. It was so pretty, I actually considered not eating it. Just briefly, mind you… After a few pictures, I had my cake and ate it too.

hi, it is my sisters 15th birthday next week and she loves pandas so what better than to make her a panda cake. we have taken the lazy option and bought 2 cakes in which one of them we will cut out two circles for ears and the other cake will be the head. i just want to say how i admire your cake.
That panda cake is so cute!I was wondering if you could put up the recipe and how she decorated it so I could make it for my cousin on his birthday.
Yes, we would love a recipe!
What a gorgeous cake! My 2nd grade daughter’s class has a panda as their mascot. Tomorrow is their teacher’s birthday, so I decided to attempt your cake! I have no hopes that it will be anywhere close to yours in terms of execution, but I’m sure the kids will still be thrilled! Thanks!
Hi. Could you email me the recipe! SUPER CUTE!
Thanks.Sonja Petersonspete21@yahoo.com
Hi Sonja,
There’s nothing particular about the recipe. I believe Kristie used a supermarket cake mix and frosting. The bear-shaped pan was bought at Michaels.
