SOUTHWEST VACATION DAY 8 :: RED ROCK CANYON NATIONAL CONSERVATION AREA, NV :: Red Rock Canyon is just twenty minutes west of Las Vegas. The vibrant red rocks of Calico Hills can be seen from the strip. Unfortunately, we didn’t have much time to go hiking and exploring. We only drove the 13 mile scenic drive, which was just fine by Kristie. She was getting a little tired of all the rocks on our vacation.
