San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, CA :: After wandering around Chinatown, I decided to visit a few other landmarks in San Francisco, including Coit Tower, The Palace of Fine Arts and The Golden Gate Bridge. I think I would have enjoyed spending more time in the city to walk through Fisherman’s Wharf and/or Golden Gate Park, but it was very windy and a chilly 60 degrees, about 35 degrees cooler than my previous two days in the San Joaquin Valley. A thick fog was beginning to roll in, and I was just in shorts and a short-sleeve shirt. After a quick stop at Alamo Point to see the famous Six Sisters (I only managed to include five in the above photo), I was glad to be heading back towards San Jose.
Kristie and I will be back in San Francisco for a week in October. Let us know what else we should see and do while we’re there!

I’m off to San Francisco for the first time next week so I hope to get some shots too. Yours are great. Always a great angle and perspective.
Nice captures John. Very nicely done in B&W. Looks like you like Lightroom?
I appreciate the comments, guys.
Keith, as with the rest of your photos, I’m sure the scenes you shoot in San Francisco will be wonderful and I’ll look forward to seeing them! I hope you have a great time.
Jayson, Lightroom is a great RAW processor. I’ve still got much to learn about the different settings and batch processes, but I’m liking it. It makes working with RAW photos much easier.
