WAIMOKU FALLS, HALEAKALA NATIONAL PARK, HI :: The Pipiwai Trail took us through lush jungle, past a giant banyan tree, and into a dense bamboo forest, where the tall stalks surrounded the path and knocked together in the breeze. Every part of the trail felt different, with plenty to see along the way.
At the end, we were rewarded with a view of the towering Waimoku Falls. The changing scenery made this one of the most memorable hikes from our time in Maui.
