POINT DEFIANCE ZOO & AQUARIUM, TACOMA, WA :: The twins joined their Girl Scout troop for a Zoo Snooze. They had the entire Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium to themselves for the night and early the next morning. The kids got to see some behind-the-scenes areas and nocturnal animal behavior (including howling red wolves and some very noisy walruses), along with fun activities with the zoo staff. Lauren was especially happy to see her favorite animal, Maggie the arctic fox!
