PANORAMA POINT, HOOD RIVER, OR :: Dragged the kids out late to see the comet. We waited at Panorama Point overlooking Hood River. At around 10:30 PM, the comet became visible to the naked eye, but looked much more impressive with our binoculars and camera. We also saw Jupiter, Saturn, and the Milky Way – the astronomy lesson was well worth staying up past bedtime!
