DENVER, CO :: We ventured into Denver’s RiNo Art District to wander the alleys and check out the vibrant street art. RiNo grew out of an old industrial neighborhood, where artists began moving into abandoned warehouses in the ’80s, eventually turning the area into a huge outdoor gallery.
We were especially looking forward to a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles mural we’d seen online… only to discover it had been painted over by a sushi restaurant. A little disappointing, but apparently very common. The murals here are constantly changing, so what you see today may be completely different the next time you visit!
