Under limited supervision, these positions perform supervisory work in the program area of youth services serving a county or multi-county area. They plan, assign and review the work of employees providing services to the public in the program area of youth services. They coordinate the work of the unit with inter- and intra- governmental units, community organizations and advocacy groups. Work requires the use of a personal automobile for extensive travel. These positions are subject to on-call status during non-business hours and may be required to deal with situations which are potentially dangerous to client and worker. Perform related work as required.
