Overview:

ABOUT VENTURA COUNTY CRISIS SERVICES
Seneca's Ventura County Crisis Services program offers a spectrum of behavioral health care crisis services to support youth and their families. These services provide safe refuge for young people who have experienced profound mental health needs including psychiatric evaluation or hospitalization. Services include crisis stabilization and short-term acute residential treatment, as well as transition and planning services to return youth to a setting in the community with stability.

Responsibilities:
- Engage youth in groups focused on supporting youth in developing coping skills, and other therapeutic activities
- Provide stabilization services for youth that include individualized intervention, safety planning, behavioral intervention and coping skills education
- Maintain accurate documentation and paperwork including, mental health notes, incident reports, and timesheets
- Assist the clinician with the intake process, including assessment
- Intervene with the clients' behavior modification programs as needed, this may include physical management of clients as necessary
- Provide transportation for youth and families when necessary
- Provide supervision for visits with family when necessary
- Participate in weekly supervision
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Own vehicle, valid California driver's license, and insurability with Seneca's automobile policy.
- Clearance of TB test, fingerprints, and any other mandatory State/Federal licensing or certification requirements.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster.
PREFERRED:
- Experience working with youth or families providing mental health services.

- Fri - Sun, 7AM - 7:30PM; on-call Mon
- Option 1
- Starting at $20 an hour, actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualification.
- Additional compensation provided upon passing bilingual language proficiency exam.
