Essential Job Functions:

• Drive tractor-trailers to designate bays or spots according to the needs of warehousing and production in a timely manner.
• Inspect loaded trailer temperature gauges to ensure proper temperatures are maintained before the driver's scheduled arrival time.
• Inspect truck for defects before and after and trips notify the Garage department of any mechanical problems.
• Take directions from a Shipping Clerk for assigned moves via radio communication.
• Utilize an Electronic Logging Device (ELD) to log daily activity.
• Maintain fuel, oil, and water levels in all units, as assigned.
• Responsible to shuttle products/materials to and from off-site warehousing and/or drop-off sites, as assigned.
• Load and unload product, as required, and responsible for proper placing of product delivered to customer.
• Perform all duties in compliance with all corporate and regulatory quality, GLP, and safety regulations.
• Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and FSMA guidelines as well as all safety regulations.
• Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Food Safety and Quality.
• Demonstrates the ability to engage work in department and cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements that provide value to the customer.
• Be accountable to the Turkey Hill Food Safety and Quality Principles.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
