Job description

General Responsibility – Movement of trailers from Newell Brands lot to the facility dock doors and back to the trailer lot as instructed by the shipping office personnel. Yard Driver may also be required to fill-in and transport trailers between all the campus facilities.

Job Duties/Essential Functions –

• Perform yard audits of trailers as requested
• Perform daily vehicle inspection reports and report any defects to their supervisor
• Must be able to effectively communicate with others both verbally and in writing
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment
• Attention to detail and organization is critical
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle

Minimum Requirements –

• Physically able to bend, squat, twist, push/pull, reach and lift up to 50 lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED
• Must comply with all applicable D.O.T. regulations including random drug testing
• Must follow all safety procedures
• Must wear/use all required PPE
• Valid Class A CDL

· Valid and current DOT Physical/Medical Card

· Less than 2 moving violations in last 3 years

• Fluent in English
• Must be able to work overtime as needed

Schedule: Monday-Friday 10p-6a

Training Requirements:

• MUST COMPLETE ALL OSHA REQUIRED TRAINING
