Worship Leader (Part Time)

Job Description: To effectively lead our music and tech team to provide an inviting and vibrant worship environment where people both encounter and worship God.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
● Mentor and develop worship leaders, musicians, vocalists, and techs
● Lead weekly rehearsals to prepare the team for Sunday morning worship
● Recruit, audition, onboard, and equip new team members
● Provide spiritual care and support for team members
● Work with the location pastor to plan worship services including song selection and arrangement, lighting, slides, and scheduling.
● Provide worship leadership for special services including Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, and occasional worship nights.
● Attend and contribute to location and network staff meetings and work days
● Commit to membership and engaging in the life of the congregation

● Passionate and contagious worshiper who practices spiritual disciplines

● Reliable, trustworthy self-starter with organizational skills and follow through
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Healthy relational practices with supervisors, co-workers, and volunteers

Education & Experience:
● Experience leading a worship team (required)
● Competency leading worship with guitar and/or keyboard (required)
● Basic knowledge about sound, lighting, and video (required)
● Experience using multi-tracks (preferred)
● Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
● Experience building and leading volunteer teams (preferred)
