While this is the targeted range, final offer amounts will depend on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s geographic location, prior relevant experience, and their knowledge, skills, and abilities. Provide superior consultative services to Bolton’s clients by representing their best interests when interacting with carriers and clients. Oversee and run Workers’ Compensation claims department including managing team and setting goals for team. Also responsible for providing and developing services to support our clients.
- Maintain knowledge of current industry developments and best practices. Participate in committees and projects that will support the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Assist with high-level client contact and escalated customer service issues in resolving claims.
- Be a client advocate and liaison between claims and client.
- Support clients with subject matter expertise.
- Manage and support direct reports.
- Lead meetings in collaboration with management, including VP of Commercial Lines P&C, to communicate goals with direct reports and reinforce/monitor behavior that furthers technical and customer service performance expectations.
- Develop and implement internal processes to support WC services.
- Develop and implement programs and initiatives to support the organization
- Develop and manage partner relationships – vendors, carriers, TPAs, etc.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
- Four year college degree preferred
- 5+ years of senior level work handling California workers’ compensation indemnity claims.
- 5+ years handling large complex clients.
- Proven expertise handling litigated claims.
- Broker experience required.
- Experience with installation of new clients, presenting in claim reviews, troubleshooting service issues, presenting in sales and pre-renewal meetings requested.
- Understanding of the Experience Mod and/or can analyze and project an estimate with the appropriate support.
