Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking a Plant Operator to join our team at our Wastewater Treatment Plant in Fayetteville!

Schedule: Midnight to Noon, five days per week. Full-time, overtime available.

*Weekly pay!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Testing water samples for bacteria and other contaminants to ensure that standards are met
• Performing routine tasks such as cleaning equipment, applying chemicals, monitoring equipment, and collecting data
• Maintaining the treatment facility’s mechanical and electrical equipment, including pumps, pipes, motors, engines.
• Conducting inspections of incoming raw materials to ensure they meet specifications for use in the plant
• Conducting inspections of outgoing final products to ensure they meet government regulations or industry standards
• Operate control panels to monitor and regulate chemical processes in wastewater treatment plants
• Monitoring the quality of treated water to ensure it meets federal and state standards for cleanliness and sanitation
• Maintaining records of water quality, chemical usage, equipment maintenance, and other activities related to plant operation
• Preparing reports about plant processes and generating alerts about potential problems for further review by supervisors

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• One (1) year of experience as a Plant Operator with the maintenance of water pumps and plant machinery (Preferred).
• Must be willing to work in environments with strong odors.
• Must be willing to work in hot, cold, and wet conditions.
