Midwest Heating & Cooling is actively looking for a Warehouse/ Production Assistant to join our team in Mukwonago.

Midwest Heating & Cooling is a quickly growing company in SE Wisconsin that services, maintains, and installs HVAC equipment for both commercial and residential clients. Position Summary: The ideal candidate for this position thrives working alone and needs no supervision. They prepare heating and air conditioning equipment for installation and assist with keeping the warehouse organized and efficient.

Pay: Up to $15.00/hr.

Hours:

Second Shift - Monday to Friday, 6:00 pm to 2:30pm

Third Shift - Monday to Friday, 2:00 am to 10:30 am

Overtime as needed to serve the clients during high demand

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist Warehouse Manager with fleet stock, tools, materials, supplies and equipment
• Promptly reports any problems with company vehicle or tools
• Prepare heating and cooling systems for installation and stage project orders for install teams
• Deliver equipment, parts and materials to job sites as needed
• Collaborate with dispatch teams for deliveries and vendor runs
• Assist with keeping the warehouse clean and organized
• Complete all required paperwork at the end of each shift
• Prepare scrap materials
• Perform all duties per company's standard operating practices
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a valid license and clean driving record
• Able to safely pull trailers of various styles with precision and professionalism
• Can safely operate a forklift
• Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude with desire to learn more.
• Able to work successfully independently, self-starter
• Possesses effective communication
• Work from a 28' extension ladder and 12' step ladder
• Lift 50lbs unassisted and safely
• Learn and safely use tools of the HVAC trade
• Willingness to self-study to learn HVAC terminology
• Punctuality & positive attitude
