Santa Monica Seafood Company is a leader in wholesale seafood distribution to the foodservice industry in the New Mexico/West Texas area. We need experienced warehouse workers who can help us achieve our planned growth by providing excellent customer service. Qualifications: High energy and enthusiastic. High school diploma or equivalent required, excellent time management, organizational, problem solving and communications skills required; ability to multitask and prioritize; ability to work individually and as a part of a team; must have a high level of accuracy and be detail oriented; mature, professional attitude; must have a consistent work history and excellent safety record. Forklift certification a plus. Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Must be able to work in cold and wet environment.
Duties include:
- Receiving and unloading of incoming product
- inventory – verify count, product, and put away
- Order pulling – bulk pull product, order assembly, order staging
- Staging and Loading trucks for next day delivery
- High level of accuracy and detail oriented
- Labeling packages, shipments etc.
- Other duties as assigned by Plant Manager
This is a Full-time position with competitive pay depending on experience, competitive benefit package to include:401(k), Paid Vacation Time, Paid Sick Time, and Paid Personal Days.
