Join the HODGE Warehouse Team in Peosta, IA! As a 2nd Shift Warehouse Coordinator, you'll be responsible for coordinating the work direction of the department. Train, coach, help evaluate and make recommendations regarding personnel. Motivate and inspire the team to work through challenges and celebrate success together. Full-time hours available:
  • 2nd Shift (11:30 AM - 8:00 PM), overtime/weekends as needed
What You'll Do
  • Assist in work direction, prioritizing and scheduling work assignments
  • Provide coverage as needed to meet peak production goals
  • Train and/or oversee training for new and current employees
  • Evaluate and make recommendations regarding personnel
  • Facilitate daily/weekly/monthly meetings with crew
  • Encourage teamwork within workforce
  • Manage day-to-day H.R. related issues; notify H.R. Dept. when needed
  • Coordinate with customers and suppliers to ensure on time delivery
  • Operate all material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintain overall cleanliness and orderliness of warehouse
  • Maintain inventory accuracy (including shipping and receiving)
  • Comply with all OSHA and site-specific safety and PPE requirements
  • Ensure quality and safety objectives are met
  • Work toward continuous quality improvement
  • Stay current with changing technology
  • Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures
What You Need
  • An awesome attitude
  • Ability to lead and motivate team members in a fast-paced environment
  • High School Diploma, GED or continuing education
  • Forklift experience highly desired, but on the job, training provided
  • Intermediate computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Tools)
  • RF Scan gun experience a plus
  • SAP experience highly desired
