Job Title: VP, Commercial FP&A
Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Location: US Remote (Candidate should be EST; ability to go into NYC office once per quarter preferred)
We are looking for a talented, strategic FP&A leader to lead our Commercial FP&A organization, play a critical leadership role in our Global FP&A, Pricing, Data & BI function and partner closely with our Executive team and market facing leaders as a strategic thought partner to drive robust financial planning, forecasting, and business analytics. This position will report into the Global Head of FP&A. This is an integral role within the global team responsible for helping to build a best-in-class organization related to budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and pricing in an industry leading company.

This Is What You’ll Do:
  • Lead financial planning and analytics for the commercial organization, globally with an emphasis on agile planning and forecasting, providing quality management information, and furthering the development of systems, automated processes, and health metrics
  • Providing the executive management team with dynamic dashboards, detailed, bottom-up budgets and forecasts to anticipate short- and long-term business outcomes
  • Working directly with the various business leaders to educate and support them in completing their strategic plans and budgets, driving real-time analytics and data driven decision making
  • Developing and reporting the key financial and operational data/metrics in dashboards and forecasts, driving automation and systems optimization
  • Identify business unit trends to optimize resource allocation
  • Performing economic and industry analyses to identify and recommend response strategies to trends impacting the business
  • Research and investigate budget variance issues and assist business leaders in taking appropriate corrective actions
  • Utilize understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (“GAAP”), local income tax principles and relationships to ensure analytical accuracy
  • Lead a talented team of FP&A through a “player-coach” mindset

This Is What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical area such as management, accounting or finance, MBA is a plus
  • Over 10 years progressive accounting or finance experience in public company environments, investment banking, management consulting experience is also desirable
  • 6+ years of people management and team management experience
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop, motivate and guide team members in order to achieve business objectives
  • A comprehensive working knowledge of US GAAP
  • Strong ERP and consolidation systems experience, experience with NetSuite, Oracle PBCS is preferred
  • Experience with integration of financial planning systems
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff with a high level of follow up ability
  • Detail oriented, accurate and able to work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills with advanced MS-Excel skills
  • Experience in developing and understanding complex business decision models using DCF, ROI, and IRR, sensitivity analysis, statistical analysis and other
  • Functional transformation experience through the People-Process-Technology framework with a focus on data and automation of experience is desirable
The pay range for this position is $170,000 to $200,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible to participate in the Annual Incentive bonus plan. A full range of benefits including but not limited to medical, financial, unlimited sick time, 22 days’ vacation annually (for FT workers; prorated 1st year of employment), parental leave and other benefits are also provided.
