Overview:

Kronenwetter Veterinary Care
is searching for a Veterinary Technician to be an important member of our growing team.

The Kronenwetter Veterinary Care team is growing but maintains a family-oriented environment. We care about each other and care deeply about our clients and their pets. Our primary goal is to provide the best possible pet care, while educating our clients so they may provide the best possible life for their pet!

Location:
1346 Old Hwy. 51, Kronenwetter, Wisconsin 54455

Clinic hours:
Monday-Friday 8 am-5:30 pm except Tuesdays 8am- 7 pm, Saturday 8am-12 pm

Compensation:
$18-25/hr

Must be willing to work in surgery monitoring patients under
anesthesia, work in a fast-paced environment, be proficient in
running in house labs as well as packaging labs to send out,
working as a team on end of day cleaning tasks as well as weekly
and monthly cleaning tasks in spare time, working in
appointments with a doctor, viewing and moving lab work and
notes to the correct DVM, detail oriented and a team player.

Responsibilities:
How you'll make an impact:

  • Maintain and uphold Core Values and Mission Statement of MVP.
  • Provide guidance to the support staff to assure that the shift flows well
  • Provide input to the hospital manager for 360-degree employee performance evaluations.
  • Provide patient care under the supervision and direction of a DVM.
  • Maintain excellent client communication.
  • Record all pertinent medical, client and case related information in the patient record accurately with appropriate grammar, terms, and accurate information.
  • Review medical records, estimates or discharge instructions with clients.
  • Answer client’s inquiries about basic animal care questions and routine procedures; handle client’s medical questions with confidence and direct to veterinarians when appropriate.
