Fast paced (AAHA) American Animal Hospital Accredited animal hospital is seeking their next "star" team member.

Key duties include:

* Providing the nicest and most professional customer service in Grundy County.

* Caring and proper phone etiquette, use of excellent grammar in both writing and speaking skills,

* Ability to learn and understand basic medical concepts and use them in decision making.

* Ability to work at a quick pace, with a moderate amount of direct supervision.

* Basic understanding of windows-based software products and excellent typing skills.

* Use of multiple line telephone, internet-based web services and mobile apps.

* Document patient files and adequately take and follow-up with messages.

* Basic accounting principles and proficiency handling all forms of money.

* Demonstrated ability to adapt to rapidly changing client, client, patient, and staff needs.

* Solid decision making skills.

Previous veterinary related experience while beneficial, not necessary. Personality, communication, and ability will be heavily weighted in decision process. Pay will be assessed on experience and ability.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
