Reports to: Medical Director, Director of Ecosystems and/or Practice Manager if present
The Clinic Lead will support and lead the paraprofessional staff and support the doctor staff in all daily operations. This leader will coach and empower their team to grow and to resolve issues and endeavor to provide the best care and service to our patients and clients. Ideal candidate with have a passion for not only the veterinary industry but for high quality patient care and client services. The Clinic Lead will create and hone engagement within the hospital, maintain a collaborative culture focused on growth, training, and support for our team.

Preferred Experience:
- 1+ years of supervisory experience and/or management preferred.
- 3+ years of technical experience in a veterinary hospital required
- 3+ years of customer service, sales or customer success experience preferred.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- The fundamental responsibility of the Clinic Lead, in partnership with the Medical Director and Director of Ecosystems, is to effectively provide support and leadership to all team members.
- Mentor and train current and new paraprofessional staff.
- Serve as direct supervisor to the paraprofessional staff and work in conjunction with the Medical Director and Director of Ecosystems to lead the associate veterinarians.
- Lead staff engagement efforts, including but not limited to, staff and department meetings, policy roll development and roll out, team building events and activities.
- Plan and maintain the staff schedules and ensure the schedules are kept up to date in the practice management software.
- Oversees accountability and follow-through for all staff.
- Management of controlled substances in conjunction with the current Doctor of Record, including ordering and auditing.
- In conjunction with the Medical Director and Director of Ecosystems, ensures staff and hospital are operating in compliance with radiation safety, OSHA, DEA, Department of Labor, etc.
- Oversees hospital cash handling and bank needs, communication with clients regarding accounts receivable and collections processes if warranted.
- Oversees event planning, social media, and marketing efforts in conjunction with the Medical Director and Director of Ecosystems.
- Works well with all employees and ensures that actions support the hospital team, clients, and the company Core Values.
- Preforms other duties assigned or attends to hospital related needs as necessary.
