The University of Tennessee’s Career Gateway is looking to fill the temporary assignment of Undergraduate Research Assistants with Udergraduate Research and Fellowships. Through temporary assignment placements, Career Gateway allows the opportunity to work with various departments while gaining valuable work experience. Each assignment has differing pay rates, work schedules, and lengths of assignments. Please see job specifics below and if you have any questions please email thp@utk.edu.
The length of assignment is until August 25th, the work schedule is Monday-Friday (5 hours/day), and the pay rate is $20/hour.
The Undergraduate Research Assistant will report to the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Research. The URA will be a point-of-contact and host for seminars and events that comprise Summer Research Scholars Program. The URA will track data (including attendance) for the SRS Program. The URA will assist with the Summer Poster Symposium. The URA will represent URF by tabling at events hosted by campus partners, including New Vol Welcome, among others. The URA will complete additional duties as assigned.
