Home Daily - We are seeking a highly motivated CDL Truck Driver. The ideal candidate will have safe driving record, as well as experience driving doubles. A background in vehicle maintenance will be beneficial, though this position will not involve performing actual maintenance. The candidate should be comfortable driving heavy trucks in potentially-challenging road conditions for a brief period of time. The candidate should maintain great morale amongst coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities and Job Duties

• Perform a walk-around inspection at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure the truck is in safe and proper running condition
• Safely and effectively haul and dump / unload material in designated area, potentially internally or directly to our customers, ensuring timeliness and safety
• Maintain maximum equipment and tire life by avoiding any rocks or debris that may damage tires or vehicles
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and management of any pertinent updates or changing conditions
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment for coworkers and other drivers
• Must have experience in driving manual shift

Physical Requirements

• Follow all procedures and safety measures to ensure safe and compliant operations
• Work in all conditions and environments
• Able to life 75 lbs. on a continuous basis
• Able to walk up and down slopes and uneven ground on a daily basis

Workplace Requirements

• Follow all safety and environmental requirements
• Work as a team member and communicate openly with others
• Willing to halt work for safety concerns / equipment longevity, and always abide by safety best practices, policies, and procedures
• Willingness to complete and obtain MSHA Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
