Tower Foreman: You will lead the construction, installation, and maintenance of communication towers, support structures, in-building, small cell, and DAS builds. As a Tower Foreman, you will be relied upon to be the expert in your field, providing training and guidance to your team. Tower technicians work long hours, travel throughout New England, and work at great heights in extreme weather conditions. This job is only for the most extreme of people. Responsibilities include:

  • Successfully complete company safety training
  • Ability to communicate professionally, both written and orally
  • Managing the daily activities of assigned tower technicians
  • Completion of closeout and any other customer requirements in timely fashion
  • Climbing and working on communications towers installing, replacing, and repairing antenna, microwave, small cell, and other systems
  • Installation of hybrid cable and fiber
  • In tandem with PM/CM, review construction drawings prior to site builds/modifications
  • Advanced knowledge in the use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment
  • The ability to climb tall structures with 30-50 lb. load
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot customer technology
  • Ability to operate sweep, PIM, and microwave test gear
  • Analyze jobsite situations accurately and adopt an appropriate course of action
  • Ability to following instructions
  • Recognize safety hazards, perform duties in a safe manner, and control jobsite safety
  • Act as lead; train and mentor less experienced technicians
  • Must have High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have 5+ years of experience climbing and working on towers
  • Self-starter with attention to detail
  • Must have experience stacking self-support towers, install waveguide, antennas and microwave dishes
  • Possession of a valid driver license and ability to pass the Motor Vehicle Records check
  • OSHA 30 Certified

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
